Former MVSU receiver Terrence Barron is entering his third season as an assistant football coach. 

After serving as a graduate assistant in charge of wide receivers and running backs, he was promoted to a full-time wide receivers assistant coach for 2019. 

A native of Shaqualak, Mississippi - the same town as head coach Vincent Dancy - Barron first played for coach Buddy Stephens and the five-time junior college national champion East Mississippi Lions. After two years in Scooba, he transferred up to Itta Bena, where he registered 30 career catches for 410 yards and four touchdowns.
