Coach Ryan Hall enters his first year as the Assistant Track & Field Coach for the Men’s & Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field at Mississippi Valley State University.
He is a former sprinter & graduate of Alabama State University. During his 4 years at Alabama State University, he has achieved the following: ?
He coached for 7 years on the high School level in South Florida where he saw year after year of success in sprints, jumps, and hurdles, advancing to Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Track & Field State Finals.
Coach Ryan prides himself on giving back to high school, track & field athletes year after year. Recently, he also started a non-profit summer track club “RoadRunner Elite”. In this endeavor he has created a venue for unsigned high school athletes to gain knowledge experience and expertise with goal of receiving a college receive college track & field scholarship
“I am excited to begin my journey as a college track & field coach at Mississippi Valley State University. I bring with me a passion for track & field, and a deep commitment to developing the potential of young athletes. As a former SWAC track & field athlete, I am familiar with the amazing culture and talent in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) and at Mississippi Valley State University. My coaching philosophy emphasizes not only performance improvement, but also building and fostering a supportive and cohesive team environment. I have a vast knowledge of the mechanics of sprinting. My commitment as a lifelong learner has made me tenacious for growth and progression which will undoubtedly enhance the intrinsic performance goals of each individual athlete. It is my goal to build a culture of winning. I look forward to assisting our gifted and talented athletes in realizing their fullest potential as student-athletes. An objective goal this year will be recruiting the greatest athletes from around the world.
