Mariah Prince was announced as the seventh Volleyball Head Coach in program history prior to the start of the Fall 2021 season.
Prior to making her way to Itta Bena, Prince was at the helm of two club teams and one high school program, leading the Texas Legacy Volleyball Club in 2018, coaching both varsity and JV squads at Murrah High School during the 2016 campaign, and starting a volleyball team for the Mississippi Basketball Association at the beginning of the 2013 athletic calendar.
Along with her expertise on the bench, she also made contributions on the court at the collegiate level as well, spending two seasons as a setter on the Tougaloo College Lady Bulldogs from 2014-2015 while also helping out as a Student Assistant Coach while she redshirted in 2013.
This is not her first foray into the Southwestern Athletic Conference either, having played one season in Lorman with Alcorn State University back in 2009.
