Prior to MVSU: Spent three years at Itawamba Community College from 2011-14.....Named Second Team All-State outfielder.....Named to All-State Academic Team.....Member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society....Chose MVSU over Arkansas-Monticello, Blue Mountain College, Delta State and North Alabama among others....

High School: Six-year starter for the Mooreville varsity baseball team.....Named All-District and Offensive Player of the Year....Selected to Mississippi All-Star team during junior and senior season.....Named to MHS Hall of Fame and Mr. MHS.....Graduated with honors and was also a member of the Beta Club and Student Council.....Also lettered in football and soccer....
