TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Mississippi Valley State men's and women's cross country teams competed Friday in the Crimson Classic, hosted by the University of Alabama. 

The Valley men's team finished 20th out of 23 teams with an average time of 29:14.23 in the 3033 meter run. Results from each competing MVSU athlete is below: 

63rd - Daniel Kibet (26:15.54)
98th - Felix Kiprop (27:09.57)
103rd - Jose Serrano (27:23.48)
147th - Juan Perez (31:36.78)
151st - Theodore Johnson (33:45.77)

20th - MVSU......Total Time: 2:26:11.15......Average: 29:14.23

Meanwhile, the MVSU women's squad finished 22nd out of 26 teams with an average time of 20:38.24 in the 4940 meter run. Reults from each competing MVSU athlete is below:
