Box Score GREENWOOD, Miss. -- Mississippi Valley State's three seniors didn't finish the way they had hoped Monday night.Â
In the final home game of the season for the Devilettes, Valley suffered a 73-70 loss to Prairie View A&M at the Leflore County Civic Center.Â
Jasmyne Sanders led Valley with 16 points and seven rebounds while Joncyee Sanders chipped in 15 points and seven assists. A'Shanti Weathers added 12 points for the Devilettes (8-18, 7-8 SWAC).Â
Prairie View stormed back from a 9-point second half deficit, taking a 68-66 lead with 2:26 left to play following a pair of Lareahn Washington.Â
The Devilettes had one shot to send the game into overtime in the final seconds but a Joncyee Sanders 3-pointer bounced off the rim.Â
