Devilettes snap losing skid with win over Lady Hornets

Box Score GREENWOOD, Miss. -- Mississippi Valley State needed a win Saturday to get back on track on its quest for a SWAC championship.

And they did exactly that.

MVSU climbed back from a 26-22 halftime deficit and put the clamps on ASU in the second half. The Lady Hornets made just 25 percent of its shots in the second half.

The Devilettes, meanwhile, found its shooting stroke -- converting on 52 percent of its shots in the second half.

Chelsea Mabry played a big role for Valley off the bench, scoring a career-high six points on 3-of-7 shots.
