Box Score JACKSON, Miss. -- Mississippi Valley State nearly completely wiped away a 17-point second half deficit Saturday at Jackson State, but the Lady Tigers withstood MVSU's run to capture a 70-68 win at the Lee. E. Williams AAC.

Valley's Jasmyne Sanders led MVSU with 16 points and seven rebounds while Joncyee Sanders added a double-double (14 points, 10 assists). Christina Reed chipped in a career-high 13 points and one was rebound shy of tying her career mark with eight boards.
