Lincoln, Neb. --- The Mississippi Valley State University Delta Devils basketball team opened their 2015-16 campaign in far from home in Lincoln, Nebraska. Before a crowd of 15,489 fans, Mississippi Valley dropped their season opener 97-51.
 
Damian Young paced the Delta Devils with 13-points, six steals and three rebounds (all defensive). Kylan Phillips landed nine points, one assist and one defensive rebound. Ta'Jay Henry added six points and five rebounds.
 
Mississippi Valley made three of sixteen for three-point baskets, 15-58 of all field goals, 35 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and ten steals.
 
Andrew White, III paced Nebraska with 18-points, two blocks and two steals.
