Box Score Grambling, Louisiana. — Delta Devils came out firing at the start of the game to lead the Tigers 10-0 within the first five minutes of the game. The Delta Devils led by as much as 15 going into the half. 
 
After the half the Tigers came back from that 15-point deficit and tied the game at 65 with just 38 seconds left to play in the game. Jordan Washington and DeAngelo Prior, both making clutch time free throws, made the score 68 – 65.  Carlton Lowe of the Tigers shot a three point basket that was off the mark with 2 seconds left to play and the Delta Devils would take the win over the Grambling State Tigers.
 
Senior guard Jeffrey Simmons led the Delta Devils in scoring with 19-points, along with Jordan Washington and Isaac Williams chipping in 15-points for the win.
 
Next, Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils (4-18 OVR; 3-6 CONF) will travel to Huntsville, Alabama to take on the Bulldogs of Alabama A&M(5-14 OVR; 4-5 CONF) Saturday in a Southwestern Athletic Conference matchup in Huntsville, AL at the T.M. Elmore Gymnasium.
