MISSOULA, Mont.– The Delta Devils of Mississippi Valley State University wrapped up their 2016 nonconference schedule with a 67-7 loss to the Grizzles of the University of Montana.
Mississippi Valley opened the contest with an 88-yard scoring drive and Montana took the lead from there, the Delta Devils were unable to gain their footing offensively.
Austin Bray paced Mississippi Valley's rushing game with eight attempts for 2-yards and one touchdown. Charlie Crenshaw also netted two rushing yards.
Defensively, Patrick Harbin tallied nine tackle, two solo and seven assists, 1.0 tackles for a loss of seven yards, 1.0 sacks for a loss of seven yards and one force fumble. Marquis Green added eight total tackles (one solo; seven assists) for the Delta Devils. Reggie Jackson also recorded eight tackles, all assists.
Mississippi Valley will travel to Montgomery, Alabama, to take on Alabama State University on October 15
th.
