HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Devilettes volleyball team faced off against Lady Bulldogs of Alabama A & M University, falling 3-0. The set scores were 25-19, 25-18 and 25-9.
In the opening two sets, Mississippi Valley put up great numbers and pressed AAMU to the brink of collapse. In the third and final set, MVSU was unable to sustain their cohesive unit.
The Devilettes recorded 24 kills on 100 total attacks, 42 digs and 22 assists.
Kalin Barnes recorded eight kills, two aces, two assists and nine digs for the Devilettes. Taylor Selfridge tallied six kills and one block. Bianca Watkins tallied 17 assists and one ace, while Jessica Bell completed the contest with 10 digs.
