Neither set was a runaway victory for Pine Bluff as Mississippi Valley pushed the Lady Golden Lions to the brink each set.
Kalin Barnes nailed seven kills to pace the Devilettes, while Taylor Selfridge and Haley Buard tallied six and four respectively.
In volleyball, serving an unreturnable ball is considered excellent, as it is tagged with the moniker ace. MVSU tallied five. Jessica Bell and Nadia Crawford each scored two and Barnes added one.

Bell raced across the court to get to the ball, allowing her to record 10 digs, Crawford added nine and Barnes wrapped up the category with seven.
