ITTA BENA – (Men's Basketball) The Mississippi Valley State University Delta Devils sealed a 74-66 victory in their second of two exhibitions, over the Bearcats of Rust College.

The first half was a vicious back-and-forth action by both teams. At halftime, the Delta Devils held a narrow 28-25 advantage.

The Delta Devils outpaced the Bearcats 56-41 in the second half. With a dominant floor presence, Mississippi Valley was able to secure the victory and looks to continue their momentum in the regular season.

Jordan Evans and Jeffery Lewis each tallied 17-points to pace the Delta Devils. Emmanuel Ejeh lead Mississippi Valley in rebounds with nine, while Jamal Watson added nine.
