Delta Devils Host Statemen of Delta State

ITTA BENA – (Baseball) The Delta Devils made up their home contest against the Statesmen of Delta State University on a cold afternoon in Itta Bena, Mississippi. Delta State was able to take the contest 8-1.

In the first two innings, both teams were frozen in place as neither scored. DSU pushed in three runs in the third, one in the fourth, two in the sixth and their final two in the ninth.

Mississippi Valley continued fighting, scoring one run in the seventh inning.

MVSU finished with one run on four hits and two errors.

Jackson Webb took the loss for the Delta Devils on the mound.
