Delta Devils Relinquish Contest 10-5 to Hornets

MONTGOMERY (Baseball) – Alabama State was able to overpower the Delta Devils to the tune of 10-5, in Montgomery on Saturday.

In the first inning, Alabama State took a two-run lead. Neither team was able to score in the second, however ASU scored once in the third.

MVSU scored five runs in the top of the fourth for a 5-3 advantage.

In the bottom of the seventh and eighth innings, Alabama State scored five and two runs respectively.

The Delta Devils concluded the contest with five runs on nine hits and four errors.

Zac Uecker took the loss for the Delta Devils on the mound.
