Hornets Take Game One of Three Game Series

MONTGOMERY (Baseball) – The Delta Devils traveled to Montgomery, Alabama, to face the Hornets of Alabama State University. ASU took game one 12-3.

The first two innings the Hornets scored three runs (per inning). In the fourth inning, Mississippi Valley scored three runs to even the playing field.

In the bottom of the same inning, ASU scored an additional three runs. They were also able to score three in the bottom of the seventh.

Arrington Smith took the loss for the Delta Devils on the mound.
