LAS CRUCES, N.M. - (Baseball) The Delta Devils' double feature with New Mexico State ended with the Aggies sweeping the three-game series. Game two ended 15-4, while the rubber match was 20-0.

Game One:

The opening inning saw Mississippi Valley's Morgan Lomax score on a passed ball to go up one run over the hosting New Mexico State. NMSU responded with three runs in the bottom of the same inning. They also scored one in the second and five in the third.

MVSU scored once in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings, while allowing one run in the bottom of the seventh and five in the eighth.

The Delta Devils finished the first contest with four runs, six hits and six errors, while New Mexico tallied 15 runs, 15 hits and one error.

Game Two:

In game two of the double feature, the Delta Devils allowed 20 runs on 16 hits, while wrapping with three hits and one error of their own.

The Aggies started scoring in the first, when they were able to push three runners in. In the second they added one run and two in the fourth. The fifth inning proved difficult as New Mexico scored 14 runs.

The game ended after 6.5 innings.
