MEMPHIS - (Baseball) It was a tough day on the diamond for the Delta Devils of Mississippi Valley State, as they dropped a 14-0 decision to the Tigers of the University of Memphis.

Memphis was able to push runners home in each inning with the exception of the fifth and sixth. In the first, they notched two, three in the second, five in the third, two in the fourth and two in the seventh.

The Delta Devils couldn't get the momentum to swing in their favor, as they wrapped the contest four hits and two errors. Kendrick Wooten took the loss for the Mississippi Valley on the mound.

Mississippi Valley will host Delta State University on March 21, 2018, at 3:00 pm.
