ITTA BENA, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State football team has finalized kickoff times for most of its 2019 schedule.
All games in August and September are tapped for 6 p.m. starts. This includes the season opening John A. Merritt Classic at Tennessee State and the Delta Devils' home opener on September 21st versus Bethune-Cookman.
Homecoming on October 5th against Virginia University of Lynchburg will begin at 2 p.m. – the first of six afternoon kickoffs for the team.
Start times for the remaining home schedule vary, with a second 2 p.m. start October 19th with Jackson State, and 1 p.m. starts with challengers Texas Southern, Alabama State and Grambling State.
The only game time left to be decided is a road contest at Arkansas-Pine Bluff October 12th.
