Itta Bena, Miss.- The Mississippi Valley State men's basketball team suffered an 84-41 loss to Vanderbilt University on Sunday afternoon in Nashville, Tennessee.
How It Happened
- Freshman Devin Gordon led the way for the Delta Devils with 13 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
- Kam'Ron Cunningham and Treylan Smith both finished the game with nine points respectively.
- Quavon Blackwood came off the bench and played 15 minutes and closed the game with six points, one rebound an assist and a steal.
- The Delta Devils shot an early season low field goal percentage of 25%.
