Delta Devils Drops Game at Memphis

Memphis, Tenn. – The Mississippi Valley State men's basketball team suffer a 94-57 loss to the Memphis Tigers on Tuesday night inside the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.  

How It Happened 

  • Treylan Smith finished the game with a team high 19 points on 7-of-15 shooting. 
  • Caleb Hunter bettered his season high from the previous game with 15 points to go along with three rebounds and three assists. 
  • Kam'Ron Cunningham had nine points and seven rebounds in 31 minutes of play. 
  • Devin Gordon also finished with nine points to go along with his three rebounds and two steals.
  • Delta Devils were outscored in the paint 62-to-8. 
  • MVSU shot 35 percent (21-60) from the field, 37.5 percent (12-32) from the three-point line, and 30 percent (3-10) at the charity stripe.
