Q: Why are you most excited about coming to Mississippi Valley State University?
A: I am excited about coming to Mississippi Valley State University for the home welcoming atmosphere and the opportunity to start a new stepping stone within my life as a Delta Devil.
Q: What have you been doing to keep yourself busy during the quarantine?
A: I have been following my team's workout plan (softball) to prepare for the upcoming season, and been spending time with close family.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most in the upcoming semester?
A: Although, the world we know today has changed throughout this pandemic, and the incoming fall semester will be far from ordinary, I am still excited about coming to Mississippi Valley. I am looking forward to having a successful education, to experience college life, and bonding with new teams whom I know will become my second family.
Jaylon Davis

Major: Biology

Q: What are you most excited about returning to Mississippi Valley State University?
A: I am excited about returning to softball and being with my teammates! Having to come back home so early due to COVID-19 and not finishing the season was frustrating and disheartening. We have some unfinished business to handle on the field so returning to campus to be with my teammates will be exciting!
Q: What have you been doing to keep yourself busy during the quarantine?
A: To keep myself busy during quarantine I've been working out to stay in shape, I've spent a lot of time with family, and I have been working to save money.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most in the upcoming semester?
A: This upcoming semester I'm looking forward to things going back to somewhat normal, i.e. going to class, practice, being with friends etc. COVID-19 seemed to throw off everyone's life including mine, so going back to school will help us get back into somewhat of my "normal" life.
