Itta Bena, Miss.- The Mississippi Valley State men's basketball team opened conference play with a 92-52 loss to the Lions of Arkansas Pine-Bluff on Saturday evening inside the H.O. Clemmons Arena in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
How It Happened
- Devin Gordon led the way for the Delta Devils with 14 points and five rebounds.
- Freshman Quoiren Walden had his best game in a Valley uniform with 12 points, five rebounds and one block.
- Terry Collins finished the game with six points and seven rebounds.
- Treylan Smith and Caleb Hunter both completed the game with seven points respectively.
- MVSU shot 29.5 percent (18-61) from the field, 23.8 percent (5-21) from the three-point line, and 52.4 percent (11-21) at the charity stripe.
