BATON ROUGE, La. – The Mississippi Valley State University volleyball program finally nabbed its first double-double of the year while matching the Lady Jaguars in both aces (6) and blocks (6) but were unable to capitalize in defeat.

After coming close multiple times throughout the campaign, Sydney Ross finally broke through with a double-double, recording 13 digs and 11 assists, both team-highs versus SU.
 
Chardea Berthelot proved to be the most dangerous offensive weapon for the Green and White on this particular afternoon, smacking eight kills and tacking on three service aces for good measure.
