Itta Bena, Miss.- The Mississippi Valley State volleyball team was unable to pull through three intense sets, while visiting Southern University, 3-0 (25-13, 26-24, 25-14).
Tylia Dixon led the Devilettes in the first set with five kills. The second set was the most competitive with the Devilettes lead by Chardea Berthelot with three kills. Ariana Austin led the team with six assist in the second set. Kiya Garza finished the last set with six impressive digs.Â
