ITTA BENA, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State athletics program will have a busy Thanksgiving week as both basketball programs will partake in five contests over four days spread out between Mississippi and Colorado.
Tuesday, November 22:
The Devilettes basketball squad will host its first regular season game versus the Nicholls Colonels at 1 p.m. for a Tuesday matinee with the annual Jessie Harris Education Day.
Wednesday, November 23:
The Delta Devils hoops team will fittingly fly to the Mile High City to face the Air Force Falcons on Wednesday at 5 p.m. central time for a Thanksgiving Eve rumble as part of the Collegiate Hoops Roadshow.
Friday, November 25:
Black Friday will see the women head over to Hattiesburg for the start of the Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic where it will matchup against Lamar at 5 p.m. on the campus of Southern Miss.
Saturday, November 26:
Both basketball programs will be active Saturday afternoon with the men tipping off at approximately 2 p.m. Delta time at mid-major Colorado State while the women will go face-to-face with Nicholls for the second time in five days at 3 p.m. inside Reed Green Coliseum.
