Mississippi Valley State Top Performers
 

• Three student-athletes shared the team lead for the most kills as Chardea Berthelot, Seerdyn James, and Torre Giron each had four.

 

• James set a new season-best with her four kills, hit a team-high .231, tripled her previous season-high for points (6.0), and the club's lone block (solo).

 

• Berthelot contributed her first multi-assist match of 2022 (2) plus five digs as well as an ace.

 

• Mikayla Lee was the top defender on the evening on top of her setter duties, putting together 11 assists and seven digs.

 
Up next is the first SWAC Round-Up of the season in Huntsville, Alabama on October 9 and 10 where Valley State will face UAPB, Prairie View A&M, and Grambling State on the campus of AAMU.
