ITTA BENA, MS. – Mississippi Valley State University Football true freshman tight end Jaxson Davis was named a 2023 FCS Football Central Freshman All-American.
 
Davis finished the 2023 season with 36 receptions and 406 yards and three touchdowns.
 
The FCS Football Central Freshman All-American Team recognizes the best freshman players from across the subdivision. 

Davis was named All-American among 49 players from 43 schools. He is one of 22 offensive players and one of two tight ends to be selected as an All-American.
