INDIANOLA, Miss. - Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils and Devilettes read to the students of Carver Elementary in honor of National Reading Month on Wednesday afternoon. 

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, March has been designated as National Reading Month. March is a month dedicated to motivating Americans of all ages to read a book everyday.

"Reading is fun and has many benefits, regardless of your age, said MVSU Athletics Academic Advisor Gloria Newell. "It's a key component of education and professional development. We, Valley Athletics, chose to invest in the community by reading today at Carver Elementary."
