ITTA BENA, MS. - Mississippi Valley State University baseball recorded 13 hits in a 12-2 conference win over Alabama A&M University on Friday at Magnolia Field.
Starting pitcher
James Snipes (2-3) earned the win for MVSU. Snipes gave up four hits, and two earned runs over seven innings, striking out one and walking two. Snipes pitched a complete game that ended in seven innings due to the mercy run rule.
MVSU was led offensively by
Ty Washington who went 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBI and a walk to help lead MVSU over Alabama A&M University.

- Dreylin Holmes provided a spark in the lineup going 2-for-2 with one RBI, two walks, and scored two runs.
