• Cody Leming was the lone Diamond Devil to get on-base more than once, drawing two walks in three plate appearances.

 

• Gabe Huelsing roped a double before eventually coming across the plate to score the only run of the afternoon.

 

• Eric Williams collected that RBI on a groundout in addition to earning a single with both Israel Ramos and Kendall Brookins also cracking the hit column.

 

• Stephen Landaz as well as Tanner Aoki both coaxed bases on balls and Gage Deutsch sat down the final two Bulldog batters in order on the bump.
