Itta Bena, Miss. - Mississippi Valley State University Athletics continues its spring schedule with competition across baseball and track and field in a pivotal week for the Delta Devils.

Baseball opens the week on the road with a midweek matchup against University of Louisiana Monroe on Tuesday. The contest provides Valley an opportunity to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

On the track, the Delta Devils will travel to Baton Rouge to compete in the Southwestern Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, scheduled for Sunday through Tuesday. The championship meet will bring together the conference's top talent as Valley looks to make a strong showing on the postseason stage.

Baseball returns home for its final homestand of the season, hosting Jackson State Tigers for a weekend series. The matchup will also serve as Senior Weekend, as Mississippi Valley State honors its graduating student-athletes for their contributions to the program.
