THE DELTA | The Mississippi Valley State University cross-country program will begin its 2026 campaign on Friday, September 4, at the Mississippi College Opener in Clinton, Mississippi. Competition is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

Friday's meet will provide the Delta Devils with their first opportunity of the season to compete as a team and establish a foundation for the year ahead. MVSU will look to carry the momentum built during preseason training into a competitive opening meet.

The Mississippi College Opener marks the first of several regular season meets for Valley State as the Delta Devils prepare for the 2026 Southwestern Athletic Conference Cross-Country Championships.
