Box Score OXFORD, Miss. -- The Mississippi Valley State women's basketball team was just one shot away from upsetting Ole Miss for the third time in school history Tuesday night.

Lenise Stallings 3-point shot from the corner bounced off the rim and Ole Miss escaped to extend the series lead to 12-2.
MVSU was down by double-digits, 55-40, with more than nine minutes left in the game before making a run at the Lady Rebels. Stallings made two three-pointers in a one-minute span and the lead was cut to 55-49 with 7:37 on the clock.
