LORMAN -- Khristina Clemons scored 16 points Saturday to lead Mississippi Valley State to a 65-61 win over Alcorn State at the Dave Whitney Complex.

Joncyee Sanders added 12 points, five steals and two blocks as the Devilettes (6-9, 3-1 SWAC) cruised to its third conference victory of the season.

Four Alcorn State players reached double-figures with An-Juvan Andrews and Carolinsia Crumbly leading the way with 15 points each. But the Lady Braves converted 26 turnovers and made just 50 percent of its free throws.

The Devilettes will be at Southern on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
