JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State University women's basketball program came out of the second half locker room on a mission and outscored the host JSU Tigers by a dozen in the third (22-10), which provided the Devilettes a big enough cushion to win its regular season finale, 66-50.

- Kylah McCullers has quietly risen into the role of go-to scorer for Valley, going off for a career-high of 19 points on eight buckets (8-for-15, 53.3%) as well as a personal-best five rebounds and the Devilettes' only multi-assist affair (2).
- Nairobi Lewis was effective in the paint, downing four of six shots on her way to 11 points, adding five boards and a blocked shot as well.
- Sydnei Marshall wrapped up the double-digit point producers with an even ten whereas Jaeda Murphy fell just shy of joining her via a nine-spot on offense.
- Ariel Jefferson made her mark on both ends of the floor, logging a contest-most eight rebounds on top of seven points.
