Box Score HOUSTON, Texas -- Khristina Clemons nearly matched a season-high with 15 points Monday, but it wasn't enough to keep Texas Southern from putting a stop to the Devilettes' six-game win streak.

Morgan Simmons (22 points) and Teera Williams (20 points) combined to score 42 points to lead Texas Southern to a 84-71 victory over Valley at H&PE Arena.

Joncyee Sanders added 11 points, seven assists and five steals for the Devilettes but also had 11 turnovers. Lenise Stallings also chipped in 11 points for MVSU, which shot 37.7 percent on the night. Alia Frank and A'Shanti Weathers added nine points each.

MVSU will be back at home Saturday when they face rival Jackson State at 3 p.m. when the Devilettes will celebrate Senior Day. Fans are asked to wear black to the game. Live video of the game will be available at www.gwoodlive.com.
