ITTA BENA (football) – Mississippi Valley football fans, the 2017 Delta Devils football schedule has been released. With new opponents on the schedule, there is something for everyone.

Mississippi Valley State will open the 2017 campaign with back-to-back road contests. The Delta Devils will face the Bisons of North Dakota State University on September 2 in Fargo, North Dakota, and the Salukis of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, on September 9 (6:00 pm).

On September 23, the Delta Devils will host the Tigers of Grambling State University in Rice-Totten Stadium at 6:00 pm. The 30^th of September will find Mississippi Valley in Charleston, South Carolina, squaring off against the Buccaneers of Charleston Southern University.

MVSU will open the month of October on the road with the University of Arkansas-Pine in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, on the 7^th. Game time is slated for 6:00 pm. On October 14, the Delta Devils are scheduled to take on the Bulldogs of Alabama A & M University in Huntsville, Alabama.

October 21, Mississippi Valley returns home for Homecoming 2017, to face the Dragons of Virginia University of Lynchburg at 2:00 pm. The following week, the Delta Devils will host the Tigers of Jackson State University. The two will meet at 2:00 pm.

November comes in with Mississippi Valley hosting the Tigers of Texas Southern at 1:00 pm on the 4^th. November 11, MVSU travels to Lorman, Mississippi, to face the Braves of Alcorn State University at 2:00 pm.

Mississippi Valley's final regular season game will take place on November 18 at 1:00 pm against Alabama State Hornets.
