Turnovers hurt The Devilettes as They Fall to The Lady Bulldogs

Huntsville, Al. The Devilettes started the game on fire behind the play of Azaria Howard. She helped Mississippi Valley open the game up with a 7-0 lead to start the 1st quarter.

Alabama A&M then came back with an answer behind a couple three pointers from Deshawna Harper.

A few turnovers from Mississippi Valley allowed The Lady Bulldogs to get out in transition and obtain easy buckets at the rim.

At the half The Devilettes found themselves down 39-26.

Coming out of the locker room, the effort was there for The Devilettes but they couldn't seem to close the lead that The Lady Bulldogs built in the first half.

Taylor Robinson finished the game with a team high 12 points and 4 rebounds. Diamond Wraggs also compiled nine points with 3 rebounds.

The Lady Bulldogs Jameica Cobb finished the game with 12 points and 10 rebounds for the games lone double-double. Dariauna Lewis and Deshawna Harper both finished the game with double digit scoring outputs, with eighteen and nineteen points respectively.

The Devilettes will be back in action this coming Saturday in The R.W. Harrison HPER Complex as they play host to The Lady Braves of Alcorn St.
