ITTA BENA, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State University athletics program recognizes men's cross country's Gabriel Crawford and women's soccer's Bailee Washington as the MVSU student-athletes of the week.
 
Crawford led the Delta Devils for the second straight event, setting a new personal-record in the 8K with an official time of 30:12.5 at the Watson XC Classic on Choctaw Trails.
 
Washington cashed in the first two goals of her career and the first two goals of the season for the Devilettes as the freshman now has scored on exactly half of her shot attempts (2-of-4) and has placed 75% of her shots on-target (3-for-4) during her collegiate debut campaign.
