HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Mississippi Valley State University men's cross country program capped off its successful season with a pair of Freshmen teammates participating in the NCAA's South Regional Friday morning as Duncan Koima and Timothy Rotich placed 109th and 181st, respectively.
The two first year students both hail from the same city in Kenya (Eldoret) as they are each eyeing bigger and better results in the upcoming track & field seasons.
The Basics:
Delta Devils' Top Performers:
- Duncan Koima put a bow on his stellar collegiate debut campaign, running his first career 10k in a time of 32:28.40, slotting himself just outside the top-100 runners at 109th.
- Timothy Rotich, also completing his first 10k course, placed ahead of 11 competitors via a 35:02.43 mark, good enough for 181st.

- Next on the agenda for the Kenyan men is indoor track and field, which is set to begin in mid-December.
