DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils (2-17, 1-4 SWAC) dropped to Bethune-Cookman Wildcats, 77-71, inside the Moore Gymnasium on Saturday evening.
The Delta Devils took the first half against the Wildcats, 39-31, with a shot beyond the arc made by Terry Collins. Collins finished the contest with 11 total points. He also registered seven rebounds, one block, and one steal.
The Wildcats made a steady comeback in the second half. The score was tied seven times. The Wildcats regained the lead in the second half with 1:49 left on the clock with a three-pointer made by Joe French, 73-71. Marcus Garrett closed the game at the free throw line, 77-71.
Rayquan Brown finished the game with a double-double. He recorded 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Rayquan Brown recorded 18 points, 11 rebounds, and one assist.
Alvin Stredic recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
Terry Collins recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, one block, and one steal.
Tyronn Mosley recorded 10 points, four rebounds, and one assist.

The Delta Devils will travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to compete against the Rattlers of Florida A&M on Monday, January 16, in the Al Lawson Center at 5:30 p.m. EST.
