ITTA BENA, Miss. - Mississippi Valley State Athletics has selected women's basketball senior guard Lexus Eagle Chasings as its Athlete of the Week for her recent conference play performances.
Eagle Chasings was named Impact Player of the Game back-to-back for her performances in conference contests against Southern on January 28 and Arkansas-Pine Bluff on January 30.
Against Southern Lady Jaguars, Eagle Chasing was the leading scorer for the Devilettes, scoring 14 points. In addition, she recorded three rebounds and two steals.
Against Arkansas-Pine Bluff Lady Golden Lions, Eagle Chasing arose as the leading scorer. She scored 16 points while adding six rebounds, four steals, and two assists to her game.

The Deilvettes will travel to Jackson, Miss. compete against the Lady Tigers of Jackson State on Saturday, February 4, in the Lee E. Williams Athletic and Assembly Center at 3:00 p.m. CST.
