Chicago, Ill. - The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils have been selected to compete in the 25th Annual Chicago Football Classic on Saturday, September 2. 

The Chicago Football Classic held a press conference on Monday morning to announce teams selected to compete in its 25th Annual Classic after a three-year hiatus. Mississippi Valley State will compete against Central State. 

"This give us an opportunity to put our brand out there to help bridge the gap for a places like Mississippi Valley State," said Head Coach Kendrick Wade. "We look forward to stepping out on the gridiron in September."
