TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Mississippi Valley State University women's cross country program earned tenth place during the 2025 SWAC Championships, ending up a dozen points ahead of Grambling State.

Devilettes' Top Performers:
- Jasmine Mackey made it a clean sweep as the top finisher for the Devilettes in all four meets this year, claiming a spot in the top-50 (47th) with a PR time of 22:47.1 in the 5K.
- Jamison Ware gave her a run for her money (pun intended) by slotting in one spot behind at 48th at 22:48.3.
- Cayden Fluellen was third amongst competitors donning Green and White, running the course in 28:43.2.
- Nyla Snead concluded her freshman year with a personal record (29:25.5) as did classmate Aliyah Ward (31:12.9).
Next:
- The cross country season has come to a close as all of the runners will now turn their attention towards the indoor track and field campaign which begins in January.
