BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Mississippi Valley State University men's track & field program had a pair of runners etch their names into the record books, kicking off their indoor season in style at the Blazer Invitational.

Delta Devils' Top Performers:

- Jeremiah Adderley recorded the team's best finish of the day, coming in 11th place with a personal-record time of 6.96 seconds in the 60m, which was good enough to create a three-way tie for the eighth-quickest mark in Delta Devils history alongside Jatarius Harris (2012) and Najair Jackson (2020).

- The other student-athlete to claim a PR and crack the record book was Malachi Finley, whose 52.73 in the 400m is among the top-30 all-time and earned him 12th for the event.

- Out in the field, Allen Jenkins had the highest placement with a top-15 allotment during the long jump (6.38m) whereas Jadarius Townes led the way in the shot put courtesy of a 11.03m throw (top-20).
