THE DELTA | Mississippi Valley State University volleyball will make its 2026 home debut on Saturday, Sept. 5, when the Delta Devils host the Mississippi Valley State Tri-Match inside the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex.

The three-match event will feature MVSU, Wiley University and Nicholls State University. The Delta Devils will open the day against Wiley at 11 a.m. Wiley and Nicholls will meet at 1 p.m., followed by MVSU facing Nicholls in the final match at 3 p.m.

Mississippi Valley State enters its home-opening weekend following a competitive showing at the Betty Austin Invitational hosted by Alabama A&M. Competing in three matches against Delaware State, South Carolina State and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, the Delta Devils demonstrated resilience, energy and continued growth throughout the tournament.

The early-season competition provided MVSU with valuable opportunities to develop its chemistry, identify areas for improvement and prepare for the challenges ahead. The Delta Devils will look to build upon that experience as they take the court in front of their home supporters for the first time this season.

Saturday's schedule is as follows:
11 a.m. — Mississippi Valley State vs. Wiley
1 p.m. — Wiley vs. Nicholls
3 p.m. — Mississippi Valley State vs. Nicholls

Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Delta Devils during their first home contests of the 2026 campaign.
