THE DELTA | Mississippi Valley State volleyball standout
Taylor Wooten has been named to the 2026 Betty Austin Invitational All-Tournament Team following her performance during the season-opening event hosted by Alabama A&M University.
Wooten delivered a strong all-around effort for the Delta Devils throughout the tournament, providing consistent production and leadership during matches against South Carolina State, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Delaware State.
Her selection recognizes her impact on the court and represents the first individual tournament honor for Mississippi Valley State during the 2026 campaign.
Wooten and the Delta Devils will return to action Thursday, Sept. 10, when they face Northwestern State at 4 p.m. in the opening match of the Bulldog Bash in Ruston, Louisiana.
