Box Score BATON ROUGE, La. -- MIssissippi Valley State held LSU without a field goal for the first six minutes of the game.

Julius Francis scored six of MVSU's first seven points to help Valley take an early 7-2 lead over the Tigers. But LSU struck back and went on a 20-4 run to distance themselves from the Delta Devils.
LSU led 33-23 at halftime.
The second half was more of the same as the Tigers continued to keep a double-digit lead over Valley.
